Indian Meal Moth

Indian Meal Moth – This moth is most commonly found inside homes and mainly found in the kitchen. They are about ¾” in size and have 3 black zigzag transverse lines across their backs. Their wings are pale gray in color and the bottom 2/3 are a reddish brown. This moth infests flour, cereals, bran, beans, biscuits, dry dog food, nuts, seeds, chocolate, dried fruits, and many other stored foods. This moth can and does get mistaken for webbing clothes moths.
